Provenance & collectibility: The 116300 was Rolex's first 41mm Datejust, produced only from 2009 to 2016 before the Datejust 41 replaced it. This 2010 example comes from the reference's early production years. With its short run and distinctive proportions, the Datejust II has become a value-led entry point into larger-case Rolex.
Design & dial: A clean white dial with applied baton indices sits inside the wider bezel and broader lugs that set the Datejust II apart from the slimmer Datejust 41. The smooth polished bezel and all-steel construction make it the most understated and versatile reference in the Datejust II family.
Movement: It is powered by the in-house Calibre 3136, a COSC-certified automatic movement with a Parachrom hairspring, a quickset date and roughly 48 hours of power reserve. It is a proven, robust workhorse movement.
